Wording for Menu's, PlaceCards and Table Plan

Menu's

Your reception venue or caterers may supply menus but you have the opportunity to carry on the theme of your stationery through to this item if you wish.  If vegetarian options are available it is helpful to show this and it is for you to decide whether you wish to name the wines that will accompany the meal.  You should allow 2-4 menus per table depending on how many guests are at each.  Preferably one menu between four guests.

Place Cards

Place cards show your guests where you would like them to be seated and supplement any table plan you have.  Place cards can be personalised with your guests names or left blank for you to complete.  It is advisable to order a few more cards than your guest numbers to allow for mistakes in completing them and for last minute changes.  If your place cards are to be personalised, please supply a list of your guests names, preferably typed, as you would like them printed either with or without surnames.  Please provide this information at least four weeks before you require this stationery.

Table Plan

Please supply a complete list of names under the correct table.  Please provide the list at least four weeks before it is required.

Please note that the layout on the plan is dependant on the number of guests and tables.

Please select one of the two formats above when completing the order form.  If you select the second format, please state whether you would like your guests christian names or surnames to be in alphabetical listing.  If you would prefer to give your tables a name, for example: if you have a theme that you want to carry through to this item ie. Names of countries, this is not a problem.

Below is the traditional Head/Top Table to assist you.  This is merely a guide; there is no reason why these people can't be moved around if you prefer a different arrangement or you want to add more people.
