When to Order
It is recommended that you send out your invitations approximately
2 - 3 months
before your wedding date (and longer if you wish to send a second set of
invitations if there are a lot of people unable to make the date).
Please note that a large number of people decide to get married between May
and September and we get booked up very quickly for weddings around this
time. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Placing your
order promptly means the production time will be booked in the diary for the
creation of your order and also secures it at the current price.
Production time is usually
within 8 weeks once we have received your approved proofs. This
timescale may vary as it is dependant on availability and size of order.
Please don't despair if your
order is needed more urgently, please contact us and we will try our best to
accommodate you.
If possible it is best to
order your stationery at least 6-9 months before your wedding.
Although this may seem early, you will most likely be sending your
invitations 2-3 months before your wedding date and you will need to give
yourself time to write them!
How
to Order
We aim
to make the purchase of your stationery stress free, by offering a personal
and efficient service and giving you regular updates on your order.
To place an order you firstly need to browse through the website to select
the design you like and refine it to suit your day by choosing the colour
and the wording inside. We have attached a few examples of wording for you
to look at but we are happy for you to supply us with your own wording if
you prefer.
Then you need to complete the order form (Please see the link at the bottom
of this page). Ideally you will need to provide a
lot of information when you make the order, but do not worry if you don’t
have it all now, just provide as much as you can. Remember that you do not
need to order one invitation/thank you card and RSVP card per guest, it
would normally be one per family and/or couple.
We advise ordering a few
extras to cover any guest list additions, handwriting mistakes and possibly
a keepsake.
It is recommended that you
allow for one order of service per guest however you can allow one per
couple. Remember to include extras for Clergy, Choir and attendants.
You will need to read the FAQ’s page and sign and return the Terms and
Conditions page.
Please note that there are no minimum order quantities
Payment
You will need to send a cheque for 50% of your approximate order when
returning the completed order form. Please note that this payment is non
refundable. Please make the cheque payable to Shelena Blatch.
The balance of payment will be required when the stationery is ready for
despatch.
Delivery does incur a postage and packing charge. This will be added to the
final invoice.
What next?
On receipt of your completed order form
and deposit we will send a proof of your invitation to you for you to agree before we
start making your order. By this we mean an exact copy of what your invites
will look like. Please check all details carefully and let us know of any
amendments needed.
If you are happy with the proofs you will need to sign them and send them
back to us. Your invitations will then be hand crafted and delivered to you
on the agreed date.
Final payment of the balance of the order (which will reflect any changes to
quantities) will be due when the final items you have ordered are ready for
despatch (i.e. place cards, order of service etc..)
